I write an entry as I begin to pick my way through what promises to be a rather stressful week. My youth orchestra's intensive rehearsal weekend is now over, and my fingers are beginning to heal - apparently the extra hours of rehearsal stretched their tolerance for wear, and they are making the fact known by peeling quite dramatically. This does not make shifting any easier. Over the next few days, I have a lesson after school, registration for AP tests, course selection for the fall of junior year, and three-hour concerts on two nights at a fundraiser for my school. There will be more later. |
